Complete the Main Quests
After completing the 1st quest tutorial, you’ll discover the Dial of Visions: to complete it, you must solve quests in the city's most famous locations.
In each mission, you will investigate how to help a character facing challenges in his/her work or leisure activities. You have to find solutions by observing your surroundings and asking the people around you.
For example, you can catch sacred chickens in the forum (the central square) by meeting priests and merchants, solve a puzzle in the thermal baths after serving customers, watch gladiatorial combat in the amphitheatre after placing a bet with a spectator, and so on.
You can follow your progress in the quest log and use a map of the city to find your way around.
Complete the Secondary Quests
To live like the people of the time, complete these short quests, with varied mechanisms and rewards that will enrich you.
For example, you'll take part in a javelin and running competition, discover what the Roman gods looked like, and even learn.... how to wash clothes in a basin full of urine!
Earn and spend sesterces, the Roman currency
You collect sesterces by completing side quests and finding amphorae in the streets.
Spend them to buy useful clues in the main quests, fast transport across the city, or accessories for yourself in one of the shops.
Discover Points of Interest
To learn more about the Romans and help you with your quests, you can watch or listen to the Points of Interest, for example, about mythology, the army, slaves, school, the plaster casts of the eruption’s victims, and more…
Save your friends and escape the eruption of Vesuvius
Will you survive? Stay calm under pressure and act fast! Limited by the arrival of the eruption, you must rescue the main characters and escape the deadly dangers of the volcano that spews gas, rocks, smoke and a burning cloud!
Why Pompeii?
The eruption of Mount Vesuvius, which destroyed the city in 79 AD and killed many of its inhabitants, has frozen part of Roman history for future generations. Archaeological excavations have uncovered a large part of the city and revealed many aspects of Roman life.
Thanks to this historical data, the city in our game has been reconstructed with great archaeological accuracy and its characters brought to life with reference to real historical events. The educational content has been integrated naturally into all the elements of the game.
